Historically, freshmen were required to wear green beanies until the Homecoming game. The only way to remove them early was by defeating the sophomores in the Hulme Fights—a spirited competition involving boxing, wrestling, and football. This long-standing tradition bonded classes together and generated excitement around Homecoming festivities. This revival will have Sumo Wrestling Suits, Capture the Flag, and Tug of War! Freshmen vs. Sophomores and Juniors vs. Seniors!
