"The Choral' plays Sunday, April 12, at 4 & 7 p.m. in the Bengal Theater.;This British Film Award Winner stars Ralph Fiennes in a story inspired by true events. As World War I rages on, Dr. Henry Guthrie (Fiennes) takes over a British choral society that's lost most of its men to the army. The community soon discovers that the best response to the chaos of war is to make beautiful music together. Leonard Maltin writes, "It is beautifully crafted and performed. The music is glorious. What more could one ask for?" while the Boston Globe adds, "The filmmakers and their cast deliver a movie that's perfect for viewing on a Sunday afternoon at the movie theater."
